Festival Vino Dalmacije
SPLIT, 10 March 2026 – Split is set to host one of the most important events dedicated to Dalmatian wines when the Vino Dalmacije festival takes place on 13 and 14 March at the AC Hotel by Marriott Split.
The annual event brings together winemakers, restaurateurs, wine merchants and sommeliers, as well as wine lovers keen to explore the diversity of Dalmatia’s wines in one place ahead of the busy tourist season.
Dalmatia’s Wines in the Spotlight
Winemakers from across Dalmatia will present a wide selection of wines, giving visitors the chance to taste some of the region’s most celebrated grape varieties. Among the highlights will be Plavac Mali, the flagship red grape of Dalmatia, and Pošip, one of Croatia’s leading white varieties.

Wine Workshops and Expert Guidance
In addition to the walk-around tastings, the festival programme includes seven wine workshops led by renowned sommeliers and wine experts. These sessions will offer deeper insight into Dalmatian varieties, production methods and tasting techniques.

Miljenko Grgić Award to Be Presented
A key moment of the festival will be the presentation of the Miljenko Grgić Award, recognising individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the development of Dalmatian winemaking and its international promotion.
The award ceremony will take place during the official opening of the festival at 13:00 on the first day.
