VIDEO: Cilic Does A Goran As He Misses Out On Memphis Semi

It was totally out of character and something Croatian fans are more used to former hero Goran Ivanisevic doing, but in a fit of rage Croatian number one tennis player Marin Cilic took his frustration out on his racket when he smashed it on the ground breaking it, during his upset quarter-final loss to Japan’s Kei Nishikori in the ATP tournament in Memphis.
Cilic lost the first set in a tie-breaker 7:6, before levelling the match when he took the second set 6:3. Nishikori however had luck on his side and took the final set tie-breaker.
Despite the racket smash from Cilic, he still has a long way to go to reach the heights of Ivanisevic in that department. Ivanisevic was famously disqualified from a tournament for breaking all the rackets in his bag.
