VIDEO: Zagreb Airport passengers treated to live classical concert

27 March 2019 – Passengers at Zagreb’s Franjo Tuđman Airport were treated to an impressive live concert on Tuesday.
The internationally acclaimed chamber orchestra Zagreb Soloists, who are celebrating 65 years since their first performance, performed for visitors yesterday at Zagreb Airport in the Croatian capital.
“In a series of concerts, this world famous ensemble has performed a short concert at international departures area. This unique event, filled with incredible performances of famous Mozart, Boccherini and Piazzolla’s work, left both our employees and passengers in awe,” Zagreb Airport said.
To celebrate their anniversary, Zagreb Soloists have been performing at a number of public locations around the city in a series of concerts titled ‘A gift to Zagrebians’. So far they have performed at Dolac markets, the central train station and on Flower Square.
Formed in 1953, Zagreb Soloists have given over 3,500 concerts in all parts of the world, and are also very well known for their numerous recordings.
