Discovered by Mike Hedges, the producer who has worked with the likes of U2, The Cure and Manic Street Preachers, Brustenghi was signed by Decca Records, part of Universal Music, when they were on the lookout for a tenor.
“Music for me is a direct line with God. It’s the way to communicate with him, and it’s the way God uses to communicate with us. It’s the way to spread the gospel, to everybody, to the world,” Friar Alessandro, whose debut album Voice from Assisi was released in 2012, said in an interview.
Alessandro will perform in Zadar on 5 August. For ticketing information visit www.eventim.hr
