VIDEO: US and Canadian Croatian tamburitza orchestras come together for virtual performance

COVID-19 virus has caused the Croatian Fraternal Union of America’s ‘Adult TamFEST 2020’ tamburitza festival to be canceled this year.
Since the cancellation, organisers have been working to find a way to celebrate the event and give friends and members a way to celebrate TamFEST 2020 at home.
Organisers reached out to Croatian Fraternal Union adult ensembles and asked if they would help with the idea and 19 Adult Tamburitza orchestras from around the US and Canada responded and came together to perform a wonderful medley.
“We appreciate their participation in this wonderful showing of camaraderie and fraternalism. We would also like to thank our good friend, Jerry Grcevich, for his assistance in putting together the music and recording for this video and our friends at Parish Digital for their help in producing the video. You are sure to be impressed with what you are going to see,” organisers said.
