Bollywood hit filmed in Dubrovnik set for release

Millions of people will get a glimpse shortly of Dubrovnik in all its beauty on the big screen, and no we are not talking about Star Wars…

The official trailer of a Bollywood film featuring Dubrovnik has just been released. The reason why millions will watch the film is mainly because the star character happens to be one of the biggest film stars in cinematic history with a following in the billions – Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan is the star of Yash Raj’s Film ‘Fan’, which was partly shot in Dubrovnik last year. The Los Angeles Times once called Khan “the world’s biggest movie star.” He has also been regularly featured in listings of the most influential names in Indian culture and in 2008, Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.
