Just over a week ago strong westerly winds in Bol on the Croatian island of Brač played havoc with the island’s most famous beach Zlatni rat…
Winds over 70 km/h in Bol bent the beach completely out of shape, a phenomenon that is not uncommon at what is Croatia’s most famous beach.

This time however the westerly’s were strong enough and lasted long enough to create a little pool in the middle of the beach.
Time for picigin
Locals on the island took the opportunity the other day to play one of Dalmatia’s most famous beach sports ‘picigin’ in the pool and Frane Marinković’s impressive video work captured it.
