It might be Spring but it sure didn’t feel like it this morning in parts of Croatia…

After a record-breaking warm start to April, surprised residents woke to more than 10 cm of snow in parts of inland Dalmatia on Monday as a cold front made Dalmatia feel like winter.

Zagvozd in the Dalmatian hinterland was the worst hit with over 10 cm of snow, but temperatures barely got above zero in most parts this morning. Split recorded 4°C at 8:00 am today.

There was even snow on the Dalmatian islands as seen in this video below from the island of Brač.
