[VIDEO] Snow Falls on Korčula & Vis Islands

Last week, for the first time in 8 years, snow fell on Dubrovnik’s famous Old Town, creating some stunning scenes in the process.

Today it was the turn of other places renowned for its sunshine – the islands of Korčula and Vis.

Temperatures dropped to zero and several centimetres of snow fell in the middle of the island of Korčula near Brna this morning, as can be seen by the video and photos posted on Visit Smokvica-Brna Facebook page.

The last time the island had snowfall was in 2009. There was also reports this afternoon of some snow falling on the islands of Brač and Vis.
