VIDEO: Polish Player Goes “Nuts” At Croatian Umpire At Australian Open

Female Croatian chair umpire Marija Cicak was in the firing line at the Australian Open overnight when Polish tennis player Jerzy Janowicz had a break-down on court.

Janowicz “went nuts” after believed a ball rulled in was out. “How many times? How many times?” before dropping to his knees on the court, spitting on the line and adding: “I’m begging you!”

Janowicz managed to eventually win the four hour match against Somdev Devvarman 6-7, 3-6, 6-1, 6-0, 7-5, before admitting his outburst. “I went nuts, sometimes I have problem to control by emotions, but I’m trying to work on this.”
