[VIDEO] Man United Reject Gives Dinamo Dramatic Derby Win

He was surplus to Louis van Gaal’s requirements for Manchester United in this season’s Barclays Premier league, but on Sunday in Split Ángelo Henríquez was the hero for Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb as they came back from 0-2 to beat Hajduk Split 3-2 in Croatia’s ‘eternal derby’….

Goals from Tin Sušić and Antonio Milić saw Hajduk Split lead 2-0 right up until the 70th minute, before the great comeback began. Croatia squad member Duje Čop scored in the 71st and then again one minute into time added on to lock it up at 2-2 before new loan signing Henríquez scored the winner with almost the last kick of the ball in a dramatic match.

“Congratulations to my side on the victory. They did not give up, not even when they were in not such a great situation. Hajduk was aggressive, although we, I think, had the better chances. They could not keep up with our rhythm at the end and we deserved victory,” said Dinamo coach Zoran Mamić.
