[VIDEO] Kiwi-Croat Teaches Croatians the Haka

The Croatian side, who will be hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s close loss to the Czech Republic in Zagreb, has been bolstered by the arrival of a handful of players of Croatian descent from Australia, UK, Germany and New Zealand, and this week they were out with a few of the squad promoting the game of rugby in a local shopping mall in the football-mad country.

One of the overseas arrivals, Dušan Hakaraia from New Zealand, entertained the crowd with a rendition of the haka – the traditional ancestral war cry or challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand which New Zealand’s rugby team the All Blacks famously performs before each match.
