[VIDEO] Ivo Karlović Becomes All-Time Ace World Record Holder

Ivo Karlović has set a new all-time aces world record…

The 6ft 11in Croat thumped his 10,237th ace today at the China Open, making him the highest ace server in the history of tennis. Karlović hit 26 aces in his loss to Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas in Beijing to go 10 aces clear at the top.

Who did Ivo overtake as the undisputed ace king? None other than fellow countryman Goran Ivanišević, who now sits in 2nd spot on the world list.

Career ace records started to be kept in 1991 and include aces served in the main draw of an ATP World Tour tournament ad Grand Slam matches.
