[VIDEO] Does this Croatian Wine have the Smallest Label in the World?

Label for the Frugal Man

Label for the Frugal Man

“We just might have created the smallest wine label in the world,” is the claim in award-winning Croatian advertising agency Bruketa&Žinić’s latest campaign for a winery on the island of Brač…

You have to look pretty closely at the new “Label for the Frugal Man” on Stina Vino’s Bogondon, Godiment and Noda range to make out what you are drinking. So why the small label?

The tiny label takes its inspiration from the stereotype that the people of Brač can be known to be ‘stingy’.

“People from the island of Brač have a reputation for being on the stingy side. It’s Brač’s poor, arid soil that taught the islanders never to waste a thing,” is how the advert starts off.

“Their labels just might be the smallest in the world. But they believe that big wines do not need big labels. Poor in soil, generous in spirit.”

The ‘Label for the Frugal Man’ project was based on the brand strategy developed by the agency Brandoctor.
