“GNK Dinamo announce to fans and the public that Paulo Machado, because of unacceptable behaviour during the UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round match against Molde, has been suspended from working with the first team”, the club said in a statement on Wednesday.

The former Portuguese international showed the crowd his middle finger twice as he was leaving the field to whistles in the 64th minute after a disappointing performance last night at Maksimir stadium.

Dinamo will travel to Norway next weekend needing to score after the visitors scored a crucial away goal last night.

“We had chances in the first half against Molde. We led with a nice goal but then quickly conceded. We were the better side and now we need to go to Molde and show how we can really play and win,” said captain Arijan Ademi after last night’s draw.
