[VIDEO] Dalmatian Klapa a Hit in Japan

kmKlapa – the traditional Dalmatian a cappella form of singing – has been presented on Japanese prime time television…

Klapa Maslina’s song ‘Korak po korak’ has featured on Japan’s national public broadcasting channel NHK television this week. The song featured on the show ‘NHK News Academy’, and viewers were also given an insight into the beauty and traditions of Croatia also during the programme.

The show’s presenter Yuki Inoue, and guests Chiriko Sakashita and Pakkun (Patrick Harlan), commented during the show how the song reminded them of some Japanese songs and that they would love ‘Korak po korak’ to be translated into Japanese so that could enjoy in not only the sound, but also in the words. Who knows, Klapa Maslina may just oblige.
