VIDEO: Croatia’s Filip Pejic scores big win at KSW 48

Big win from Filip Pejic at KSW 48

1 May 2019 – Croatia’s Filip ‘Nitro’ Pejic (14-2-2) scored a huge win over the weekend and stunned the sold out arena at KSW 48 in Lublin, Poland.

The 26-year-old landed a headkick to opponent Filip Wolanski before pouncing with strikes to get the finish in the second round in what was his debut fight for KSW. Pejic was also awarded ‘Knockout of the Night’ at KSW 48. 

Elsewhere at KSW 48 Stjepan Bekavac suffered an injury in the first round of his fight with old rival Lukasz Jurkowski. As a result, Jurkowski was awarded the TKO win.

The pair now hold similar wins over the other after Jurkowski injured himself during their first fight fourteen years ago. Next up is KSW 49 on May 18 in Gdansk, Poland where Croatia’s Roberto Soldic will defend his welterweight title against the undefeated Krystian Kaszubowski and Antun Racic will rematch Pawel Polytilo in an exciting bantamweight collision.
