Whilst some Croatian fans have stayed on since Wednesday’s dramatic semi-final victory, a large contingent of Croatians have been pouring into Moscow ahead of this afternoon’s final.

When Croatia take on France in the World Cup final an estimated 15,000 Croatian fans are expected to be in the stands at Luzhniki Stadium.

The famous 96×10 metre Croatian supporters’ flag is again in Moscow as fans get the party started on the streets with singing in dancing on Sunday morning.

A sea of red and white checkers can be seen on Red Square and at bars and cafes around the centre and fans warm-up for this afternoon’s match.

Support from Croatia has come in from all over the world.

The Croatian Football Federation secured an extra 1,000 tickets for the match yesterday but they were all sold out within 30 minutes on the website. Zagreb Airport was once again busy this morning as fans boarded flights to Moscow.

Kick-off is at 6 pm local time. Check out the atmosphere in Moscow in videos below.
