With just hours left before kick-off of Croatia’s semi-final World Cup clash with England, Croatian fans have started to gather in Moscow.
The atmosphere on Red Square and at bars nearby is starting to build up as Croatian fans flow into the city. Fans snapped up over 3,000 last-minute tickets in just hours with Zagreb Airport busy today as most fans departed.
A large number will not arrive in Russia for another hour but there still are plenty of red and white checkers seen around town on Wednesday, including a huge 96×10 metre Croatian supporters’ flag.
According to the latest information, around 15,000 Croatian fans are expected to be inside the Luzhniki Stadium tonight.
