VIDEO: Croatia Under-21 beat Austria and stay on course for Euros

The Croatian Under-21 side has continued its unbeaten start to the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with a 3:1 victory away against Austria last night. 

Lukas Kačavenda opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a great strike from outside the box. Captain Bartol Franjić then doubled the lead before Luka Sučić scored from the spot in the 55th minute to make it 3:0. 

Austria pulled a goal back late but it was a dominant performance from Igor Bišćan’s side, who now remain unbeaten after six matches in Group A.

The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be the be co-hosted by Romania and Georgia.
