[VIDEO] Croatia International Teammates in On-Field Bust-Up

DS11Croatia football captain Darijo Srna had to be restrained by club officials after a heated bust up on the pitch with fellow Croatia international Nikola Kalinić following their club’s Ukrainian Cup semi-final this week…

Srna’s Shakhtar Donetsk and Kalinić’s Dnipro drew 1-1 but it was an incident after the match that had people talking. The pair, who both played together for Croatia and spent time at Hajduk Split, had to be separated after the final whistle when Kalinić reportedly insulted Srna.

The incident eventually ended in the tunnel, and Croatia’s captain was quick to play it down.

“I just defended my club. Kalinić is a great guy, when emotions calm down we will be good friends again,” Srna said.

Watch the bust up below – it starts at the 1:59:40 mark.
