The Croatian team has arrived in Alexandria, Egypt ahead of the World Men’s Handball Championship which will be played from January 13 to 31, 2021.

The Croatian team is based at the North Coast Hotel & Resort Tolip in Alexandria and they were quick to show their support for Petrinja back in the homeland which was hit with a devastating earthquake last week.

The team, who will be motivated to play for those affected by the earthquake, has hung up a big Croatian flag with the words “Zato što svoje volim. PETRINJA” (Because I love mine. Petrinja) on a balcony at the resort.

The video was posted by the team’s physiotherapist Damir Kajba and shows pivot Marino Marić also taking part in putting it up.
