ULTRA Europe 2026 will return to Split from 10 to 12 July 2026, organisers confirmed during a press conference held at Split City Hall on Thursday.

The event, now entering its 12th edition, continues to rank among the world’s largest electronic music festivals and is expected to attract visitors from across the globe.

Among those attending the presentation were US Ambassador to Croatia Nicole McGraw, Split Mayor Tomislav Šuta, Split Tourist Board director Alijana Vukšić, Croatian Chamber of Economy county chamber president Joze Tomaš, Split-Dalmatia County tourism official Ana Glavurdić Mekinić, festival organiser Joe Bašić and project director Alek El-Kazal.

Speaking at the conference, Alek El-Kazal highlighted strong international interest in this year’s festival, particularly for VIP tickets and accommodation bookings.

He also stressed the importance of long-term cooperation with the City of Split and festival partners, which he said has supported the event’s continued growth and organisational development.

Mayor Tomislav Šuta said the City of Split strongly supports the festival and confirmed that €250,000 has been allocated for this year’s event.

He added that the Croatian Government has secured more than €2.2 million in support for the period from 2025 to 2028.

Šuta described ULTRA Europe as an important promotional platform for both tourism and music in Split, adding that safety and cooperation with all relevant public services remain a priority during the event.

US Ambassador Nicole McGraw welcomed the continued cooperation between the US Embassy and the ULTRA Europe organisation, particularly as the United States marks 250 years of independence in 2026.

She noted that the original Ultra Music Festival was founded in Miami and highlighted the cultural links between Croatia and the United States, as well as the direct air connection between New York and Split.

Festival organiser Joe Bašić thanked the City of Split and long-term partners for their support, adding that organisers expect visitor numbers to continue growing this year, particularly from Australia and other developed Western markets.

Bašić also said that more than 90 per cent of those involved in organising the festival are now from Croatia, reflecting the development of the country’s events industry.

Representatives from the tourism and business sectors highlighted the festival’s importance for promoting Split and Croatia internationally, as well as its contribution to tourism, the local economy and the global visibility of the destination.

The conference concluded with the announcement that Calvin Harris will appear as one of the headline performers at this year’s edition of ULTRA Europe.
