Dubrovnik, on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, has been selected to host European football ruling body UEFA’s September congress on the strategic question of football in Europe.
UEFA has chosen Dubrovnik to hold the congress with is held every two years in various cities around the world. Croatian football federation president Davor Suker is looking forward to the congress.
“We are pleased that we can host such an important meeting in our city in southern Dalmatia. The whole congress will have important meaning for Croatian football, and for our country in general,” said Suker.
