Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb advanced through to the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League for the second time in three seasons.

Dinamo Zagreb will face English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the round of 16 after the draw was made on Friday in Nyon.

The first leg will be played on 11 March, and the second leg will be played on 18 March 2021.

Dinamo will be trying to go one better than in the 2018-19 season when they were knocked out by Benfica in the round of 16.

Dinamo Zagreb reached the round of 16 after beating Russian club Krasnodar 4-2 on aggregate.

Dinamo won 3-2 away in Russia in the first leg thanks to a brace from Bruno Petković and won 1-0 last night at Maksimir stadium with Mislav Oršić scoring the winner.

By reaching the round of 16 Dinamo earned an additional million euros, which means that Croatian champions have now earned around 10.5 million euros this season thanks to the points they won and the bonuses.

Tottenham knocked out Wolfsberger 8-1 on aggregate to reach the round of 16.

The bookies have Dinamo as the 12th favourites to win the Europa League.
