Two new cases in Croatia in the last 24 hours, 1221 tests conducted

ZAGREB, May 20, 2020 – There have been two new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Wednesday.

Today’s new cases bring the total tally of cases to 2,234. The new cases were reported in the Vukovar-Srijem and Koprivnica-Križevci counties.

There were no COVID-19-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll stands at 96.

There have been 1,978 recoveries to date, 11 more than yesterday. This means there are currently 160 active COVID-19 cases in Croatia.

There are 117 in hospital as of Tuesday, 3 fewer than Sunday with 8 patients currently on a ventilator.

Since late February, Croatia has conducted 57,021 tests, including 1221 in the last 24 hours.
