Traditional Zagorje Cottage Modern Restoration Up for World Architect Award

The restoration and reworking of the traditional Zagorje ‘hiža’ located near Kumrovec was the porject of Zagreb studio PROARH. Kumrovec is an idyllic village nestled in the Sutla River Valley close to the Croatian-Slovenian border.

Over 200 finalists will contest awards in 31 categories in Singapore on 4-6 November. PROARH has been shortlisted for an award in the ‘Small Projects’ category.
