A full-strength Croatian side will play two matches in the United States in March 2018 as it builds up for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia next summer.
The first match will see Zlatko Dalic’s side take on face Peru at the Hard Rock stadium in Miami on 23 March 2018. Kick-off will be at 8 pm local time.
Ticket sales for the match will be done in two phases, the Croatian Football Federation informs.
Until Monday, 8 January 2018, fans interested in obtaining match tickets can register on the official website of the stadium – HardRockStadium.com – with tickets allocated on Tuesday, 9 January 2018.
The next phase, open for everyone, starts on 10 January 2018. Then match tickets will be available also on the website of the official partner – Ticketmaster.com.
Croatia and Peru have never faced each other before. Peru has been drawn with France, Australia, and Denmark in Russia, whilst Croatia faces Argentina, Iceland, and Nigeria.
Four days later on 27 March 2018 Croatia will play Mexico at AT&T Stadium in Dallas as part of their USA tour.
Ticket details for that match will be announced once a decision from organisers has been made.
“I am extremely satisfied with these two agreed matches. Peru and Mexico are powerful sides, and their style of play will be excellent preparation for our matches at the World Cup, especially the one against Argentina. I believe a large number of Croatian fans will support us and these top stadiums, great atmosphere and excellent opposition will be a great motive for our players to give it their maximum in these two friendlies because we know it is an important test ahead of the World Cup,” coach Dalic said.
