The New York trio will be playing at Močvara in the Croatian capital on Wednesday night (2.9) as part of their European tour.

The band, which consists of Judah Bauer, Russell Simins and Jon Spencer, has largely rock and roll roots but draws influences from punk, blues, garage, rockabilly, soul, noise rock, rhythm and blues and hip hop. They have released seven official studio albums, collaborative records and a number of singles, out-take albums, compilations and remix albums since forming in the 1990s.

The trio have worked with a number of diverse artists including Elliott Smith, Beck, Solomon Burke, Steve Albini, Martina Topley-Bird and Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys.

Wednesday’s gig is set to be one of the most exciting concerts for the rest of 2015. Doors open at 20:00 and tickets cost 120 (presale) and 150 kuna at the door.
