The Boomtown Rats Zagreb concert postponed until October

ZAGREB, 11 February 2020 – The Boomtown Rats, led by frontman Sir Bob Geldof, will not be performing in the Croatian capital Zagreb as planned on 14 March.

Due to the coronavirus situation, the postponement was expected and in agreement with the band’s management, the concert has been postponed to Saturday, October 17th, while the location remains the same – Tvornica Kulture.

The concert was set to be the live world premiere of the band’s new studio album “Citizens of Boomtown” which The Boomtown Rats will officially release on 13 March. 

All tickets purchased are valid for the new date in October. Refunds are also available and can be made at the point of sale where tickets were purchased between March 14 and April 14.

Three other concerts coming up at Tvornica Kulture – Artan Lili, Partibrejkers and Jure Stublić & grupa Film – have also been postponed with new dates to be announced shortly. Like The Boomtown Rats situation, tickets will be valid for the new date and refunds will also be available.
