Tech boom continues in Croatia with 13 companies ranked on Deloitte’s fastest-growing list

ZAGREB, 9 July (Hina) – Global professional services firm Deloitte has published the results of its 2025 EMEA Technology Fast 500 ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with 13 Croatian firms making the list.

The competition covered companies from 24 countries across the EMEA region. The average growth rate among the 500 ranked companies was 1,132%, with the media, marketing and entertainment sector recording the highest average growth of 1,470%.

It was followed by environmental technology, with average growth of 1,370%, hardware with 1,237% and software with 1,081%.

The top-ranked company was Swedish video game developer Stunlock Studios AB, which posted growth of 13,473%.

Deloitte highlighted that 152 companies achieved growth rates of more than 1,000%.

Natko Sertić, Deloitte’s tax lead partner for the CE South region, said he was particularly pleased that the success of Croatian companies in Deloitte’s Central Europe Fast 50 competition had also been confirmed on the broader EMEA Technology Fast 500 ranking.

In addition to the seven Croatian companies that ranked among the 50 fastest-growing firms in Central Europe, six more successful Croatian technology companies made the EMEA Technology Fast 500 list, he said.

Among the Croatian companies, the highest-ranked was Margins in 82nd place, followed by Cactus Code (84th), Orqa (134th), Spectral Core (157th), Farseer (175th), B.I.D. Grupa (190th) and Utiliter (241st).

The extended list also included Udonis (330th), Monri Payments (410th), Aircash (473rd), BARREK (484th), Dice Digital Innovation Centre (488th) and Amplibit (490th).

Katarina Pavlović, a director in Deloitte’s tax department and head of the Fast 50 programme in Croatia, said that while established technology hubs such as the UK, the Nordic countries and Western Europe continued to dominate the rankings in absolute terms, the latest figures showed the clear strengthening of Central and Eastern European markets.

Countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia have significantly increased their representation among the fastest-growing technology companies, demonstrating their ability to adapt quickly to global trends such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation, she said.

It is particularly encouraging that Croatian technology companies are increasingly achieving international success, confirming that the domestic market possesses the talent, innovation and entrepreneurial energy needed to compete globally, the statement said.
