Swanky Mint Named Croatia’s Best Hostel at 2016 HOSCARS

Swanky Mint Hostel in Zagreb has been named Croatia’s best hostel after receiving the highest customer ratings in 2015 on hostelworld.com. Swanky Mint, which is located on Zagreb’s main street (Ilica 50), scored a high 93% to win the award for the best hostel in Croatia.

Facilities, location, value for money, staff and atmosphere were all part of the criteria in the ratings.

Main award winners:

Best Large Hostel (131-350 beds) – Che Largato hostel – Brazil
Best Medium Hostel (76-150 beds) – Home – Portugal, Lisbon
Best Small Hostel (up to 75 beds) – Soul Kitchen – Russia, St Petersburg
Best Hostel in Croatia – Swanky Mint, Zagreb
