The Central State Office for Croats Abroad has announced a public tender for student scholarships for people with Croatian heritage living outside of Croatia.
The Central State Office for Croats Abroad has significantly increased the number of scholarships as well as the amount of them for the 2021/2022 academic year.
1000 students scholarships will be awarded for the 2021/2022 academic year, of which 250 scholarships for study in Croatia (200 scholarships will be for Croatians living in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 30 scholarships for members of the Croatian national minority and 20 scholarships for members of the Croatian diaspora) and 750 scholarships for study in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Scholarships are awarded to students once for one academic year, ie for a period of 10 months in the monthly amount of HRK 1,000.00.
Those eligible to apply for the scholarships include students with Croatian nationality who are resident outside of Croatia and enrolled at a higher-learning institute in Croatia or Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The application for the public tender must be submitted electronically (all documentation) and paper form (application form and mandatory documentation), the Central State Office for Croats Abroad said.
After the e-application form, available via the link: https://eprijave-hrvatiizvanrh.gov.hr/stipendije/ is completed it must be printed and signed by hand and together with the prescribed mandatory documentation in paper form, be sent by registered mail to: Central State Office for Croats Outside the Republic of Croatia, Pantovčak 258, 10000 Zagreb, Republic of Croatia and marked “For the public tender for the award of scholarships to students – members of the Croatian community outside the Republic of Croatia – for the academic year 2021/2022.”
The deadline for submitting applications in electronic and paper form is 19 January 2022.
