Spring in January

ZagrbIt is not quiet four seasons in one day, but January has dealt up a mixed bag in the weather department in Croatia…

Despite being close to the middle of winter according to the calendar, it could be short sleeves for much of the country later this week. The forecast for Friday is a mild spring-esq 15º, just days after much of the country froze in 15º temperatures. Citizens are advised though not to be putting their jackets and scarfs away just yet. Another change is one the way at the end of the weekend, with temperatures in some parts of the country again falling into the minuses. Snow, which has only fallen in a serious quantity just once this winter, could make another appearance towards the end of next week.
