Filming for the new six-part show ‘Eternal Glory’ will start later this month, and according to Radio Times, the show will be hosted by well-known British presenter Richard Bacon.
The eight sport stars who will participate in the show, which will see them undertake a series of gruelling challenges testing their psychological endurance, reaction speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, strength, stamina, visualisation, and more, has not yet been revealed.
The format of ‘External Glory’ will be that each of the sporting legends will take on four challenges in each episode. As the series moves on athletes will be eliminated leaving one winner. Some of the challenges will include deep-sea challenges in the Adriatic.
“We have seen sports stars succeed in dancing, the jungle, cooking and the ice but I can’t wait to see them take on each other in these specially created challenges. This show is designed to reveal what makes sporting legends tick and I for one am excited to see under their skin and hear personal stories from their careers and beyond.” ITV’s Commissioning Editor, Entertainment Kate Maddigan said.
