Slaven Bilic Signs For Turkish Club

Former Croatia coach Slaven Bilic is the new coach of Turkish side Besiktas, according to reports in Turkish media.

According to the reports, Bilic signed a 2-year deal with the Istanbul-based club. Bilic was sacked earlier this month by Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow after a dismal season. Besiktas, who have won numerous trophies in Turkey, wanted Bilic last season but the former West Ham and Everton defender turned them down to join the Moscow club.

Bilic will face former team-mate and his former Croatia assistant coach Robert Prosinecki when Besiktas meets Prosinecki’s Kayserispor in the league.
