Rock guitar icon Slash will return to Zagreb in 2027, joining Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators for a concert at Šalata on 12 July.
The show will mark 12 years since Slash, Kennedy and The Conspirators last performed at the same Zagreb venue, where they played to a sold-out crowd in June 2015.
The return comes as the group prepares to release a new album, “Flying Blind”, scheduled for February 2027.
Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, is best known as the lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and is regarded as one of the most influential guitarists in rock music.
During a career spanning more than four decades, he has also performed with Slash’s Snakepit and Velvet Revolver, as well as releasing music with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.
Kennedy, best known internationally as the frontman of Alter Bridge, has also performed in Croatia, including two previous appearances with the band.
The Zagreb concert will feature material from Slash’s solo career, new songs from “Flying Blind”, Guns N’ Roses classics and selected covers. The set is expected to include songs associated with Slash’s various projects and his work with Guns N’ Roses.
Slash has received numerous honours during his career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Guns N’ Roses, while his guitar work has featured prominently in numerous major rock and guitar rankings.
Among the best-known songs associated with his playing are Guns N’ Roses classics including “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Paradise City” and “November Rain”, alongside material such as “Slither” from Velvet Revolver and “Anastasia” from his work with The Conspirators.
The partnership with Kennedy and The Conspirators has produced four albums to date, with their 2022 release “4” receiving recognition in guitar-focused publications.
The Zagreb date is the first major concert announcement for the Croatian capital and the country for 2027.
Tickets will go on sale on 9 October at 10am.
The first 1,000 early-bird standing tickets will cost €52, after which the price will increase to €56. Side-stand tickets will be available for €77.
Tickets will be available through Core Event, Dirty Old Shop, Rockmark and Dallas Music Shop Rijeka.
