Six new coronavirus cases in Croatia, 87 in total

ZAGREB, March 18 (Hina) – Six new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Croatia, bringing their number to 87, Health Minister Vili Beros said at a press conference on Wednesday evening.

He added that five persons had recovered from the disease and 1,171 samples had been tested so far.

Croatian Public Health Institute Director Krunoslav Capak gave a list of the cities where the virus had been detected and the number of cases: “41 in Zagreb, 1 in Zadar, 6 in Varazdin, 1 in Slavonski Brod, 3 in Sisak, 14 in Rijeka, 10 in Pula, 7 in Osijek, 1 in Karlovac and 3 in Zabok.”

Capak said that one more case had been detected among hospital staff, bringing the number of infected hospital staff to nine.
