Search is on for the Croatian of the Year in the Diaspora
Nominations are now being accepted to find the Croatian of the Year in the Diaspora.
The Cardinal Stepinac – Croatian of the Year award honours outstanding Croatians living in the Diaspora, whose selfless dedication, contribution and/or philanthropy during their lifetime have significantly contributed to both Croatia and their own Croatian community.
Organisers of the award are inviting people to nominate the most outstanding Croatian in their community for this year’s award. Nominations are being accepted until 31 January 2023.
“The award was launched to encourage virtue, namely the love of God, family and our Domovina,” organisers said, before adding.
“Let us together, honour our dedicated, big-hearted patriots who have given so much of themselves for the embetterment of Croatia and her people whether in our Homeland or in Croatian communities around the world!”
Winners will be announced on 12 February 2023 via live stream from Zagreb.
