Screenings with English Subtitles in Zagreb’s Cinema Europa

unnamedCinema Europa, located in downtown Zagreb, enters the new year with a new programme: every Tuesday, one of the films from their regular repertoire will be shown not only with Croatian, but also with English subtitles…

Our Subtitled Tuesdays programme begins on 13 January with Volker Schlöndorff’s film ‘Diplomacy’, with subtitles in two languages. It is the latest film of one of the most prominent directors of the so-called New German Cinema. The screening starts at 7 pm.

A week later, on 20 January, Subtitled Tuesdays will present Swedish film ‘Force majeure’ by Ruben Östlund, the winner of the jury award at Cannes Film Festival and Swedish candidate for an Oscar, currently nominated for Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.
