Say ‘thank you’ to healthcare providers in Croatia

Petra Dujmic, a high school senior in the United States with Croatian heritage, has come up with an initiative to let people say thank you to  healthcare providers in Croatia who are sacrificing their own safety to keep everyone safe during the current coronavirus pandemic. 

“I was recently trying to think of ways that I could assist in diminishing the panic surrounding the coronavirus on these long days that I’m away from school, and finally came upon the idea of creating an online form that people could use to write thank you notes to healthcare providers for sacrificing their own safety to keep us all safe,” Petra explains. 

The thank you notes would then be sent to healthcare providers in Croatia and Italy. 

“My hope is that healthcare providers would then open the thank you notes and finally feel appreciated for the brave work that they do everyday, especially during such scary times as these,” says Petra.
