Sandra Perkovic Smashes Doha Meeting Record – Twice In Comeback

Croatian Olympic gold medal winning discus thrower Sandra Perkovic smashed the Doha Diamond League meeting record twice on her way to title in her first competition appearance in 8 months.

Perkovic opened the Diamond League season by smashing the Doha meeting record with a throw of 67.37 metres. Sandra was not done there though, in her 6th throw she set an even newer meeting record with a throw of 68.23 metres. The London Olympic gold medalist easily defended her Doha title and won 10,000 USD in the process.
