Ryanair resumes Frankfurt-Rijeka flights, Vueling starts Zagreb-Barcelona service

Ryanair

ZAGREB, 2 August 2020 – Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has resumed flights on the Frankfurt (Hahn Airport) and Rijeka Airport route, whilst Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling returns to Zagreb, Croatian Aviation reported.

Yesterday, Ryanair resumed its Frankfurt – Rijeka service with 133 passengers on board (70% full) the first flight of the season which arrived in Rijeka after 7 a.m.

During the 2019 summer season 2019, flights were running between Frankfurt’s main airport and Rijeka, but the airline transferred a large number of routes to nearby Hahn Airport for this year.

Ryanair will continue to serve on this route until 24 October with one flight per week, every Saturday, in the afternoon. Rijeka was connected with Frankfurt with Condor airline back in summer 2019, but this carrier resumed flights to Split Airport only in this summer season.

Ryanair is offering two routes from Rijeka this year, one to Frankfurt (Hahn) and another one to London (Stansted). The London – Rijeka route is operating two times per week (every Monday and Friday) until the end of September.

Vueling returns to Zagreb Airport

Spanish low-budget airline landed at Zagreb Airport from Barcelona on Saturday night, for the first time in this summer season.

Vueling

The first flight landed with 186 passengers on board last night. Previously, Vueling flew three times per week on the Barcelona – Zagreb route, however, the weekly frequency has been reduced for this season and flights will be running just once per week (every Saturday) until the end of September (September 26th) in the evening hours.
