Ryanair launches new Zagreb to Sofia summer route

Ryanair

ZAGREB, 3 June 2021 – Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline, announced today a new route connecting the capitals of Croatia and Bulgaria.

The new Zagreb to Sofia will operate two departing flights per week from August, as part of Ryanair’s Croatian Summer ’21 Schedule.

Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Manager for CEE & Balkans, Olga Pawlonka, said:

“As vaccination rollout programmes continue in the coming months and with the summer season just around the corner, we are delighted to announce this new route from Zagreb to Sofia, operating twice per week from August as part of our Croatian summer’21 schedule.

Mindful that COVID restrictions change regularly, customers can now book flights for a well-deserved break knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so up to two times with a zero-change fee until the end of December 2021.

To celebrate, we are launching a seat sale with fares available from just 153 HRK for travel until the end of October 2021, which must be booked by midnight Saturday, 5th June. Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com to avoid missing out.”

On Wednesday, Ryanair marked its first flight to Zagreb. From July 23, Ryanair’s first aircraft will be based in Zagreb.

The full flight schedule of Ryanair from Zagreb for the summer of 2021 will be available from September when the second aircraft will be based in Zagreb and nine more new routes will be opened to Germany, France, Norway, Sweden and Montenegro.
