Russian Giants Gazprom Entering Croatian Market – Gas Prices To Drop?

Russian energy giants Gazprom are rumored to be entering the Croatian market. Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji list reports that Gazprom will set up an office in the Croatian capital Zagreb next month.

The Russians intend to enter the local natural gas market, and it doesn’t stop there, according to sources. They are also interested in various energy and industrial projects in the country.

“We believe we can offer a considerably lower price of gas than what is currently being offered in Croatia,” a source told Vecernji list.
