Ruiwu Tan Brings Croatia A Medal At European Table-Tennis Championship

There was major success for Croatia at the European Table-Tennis Championships in Denmark with Croatian international Ruiwu Tan guaranteeing at least a bronze medal.

The Chinese with the Croatian passport made it through to be in the top four table-tennis players in Europe. Tan beat Olympic bronze medalist and second seed, Germany’s Dimitri Ovcarov in the quarter-final by 4 sets to 3.

Tan will play another German, world 28 Bastian Steger for a place in the final, reported Slobodna Dalmacija.
