PULA, 28 September 2026 – Rock legend Sir Rod Stewart has announced what he says will be his final touring run, with Croatia confirmed as one of the stops on the farewell tour.
The British singer will bring his The Final Encore tour to the historic Pula Arena on 22 June 2027.
Tickets will go on general sale on Friday, 2 October at 12pm, through Eventim Croatia. A pre-sale will begin on 29 September at 12pm.
Stewart, who has been performing professionally for more than six decades, said the new tour would mark the end of his life on the road.
“After more than six decades, The Final Encore will definitely be my last tour,” Stewart said, thanking fans for allowing him to build a career that had taken his music around the world.
He said he hoped audiences would join him for the final concerts so he could thank them “in the best way I know – with music and a hell of a good show”.
The Final Encore will draw on Stewart’s extensive catalogue, with the set expected to include some of his best-known songs, including Maggie May, You Wear It Well, Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright), Hot Legs, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Young Turks, Baby Jane, Forever Young, Sailing and Have I Told You Lately, among others.
Stewart first rose to prominence in the late 1960s with the Jeff Beck Group and Faces, before establishing one of the most successful solo careers in popular music.
He has sold more than 250 million albums and singles worldwide and has recorded 31 UK Top 10 singles, including six number ones. In the US, he has had 16 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including four that reached number one.
His UK album chart success has also stretched across more than five decades, from Every Picture Tells a Story in 1971 to Swing Fever in 2024.
Stewart has received 15 Grammy nominations, won a Grammy Award and received the Grammy Living Legend honour. He has also been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice – as a solo artist in 1994 and as a member of Faces in 2012.
Stewart’s touring career has included some of the biggest concert audiences and venues in the world.
His performances have included a concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro that attracted an estimated 3.5 million people and was recognised by Guinness World Records.
He also performed 200 shows during a 13-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
His most recent tour in early 2026 ranked eighth on Pollstar’s Global Concert Pulse chart, according to the announcement.
Now, more than 50 years after becoming an international concert star, Stewart is preparing to take his final tour to audiences around the world.
One of the stops will be the Pula Arena, where fans will have the chance to see the singer perform his best-known songs against the backdrop of one of Croatia’s most recognisable Roman landmarks.
Tickets for the Pula concert go on general sale on 2 October at 12pm, with pre-sale access beginning on 29 September at 12pm.
