Robbie Williams Forces Dinamo Zagreb to Move Home

Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb will for the first time play a home Croatian first division league match away from its Maksimir Stadium, after the pitch was damaged during Tuesday’s Robbie Williams concert.

Dinamo Zagreb will play NK Lokomotiva at Kranjceviceva stadium today after their home ground was deemed not fit to play on. Ground staff at Maksimir stadium will work around the clock to make sure it is ready for Dinamo’s important Champions League play-off match with Austria Vienna next Wednesday. In 2009 Maksimir stadium officials ordered the pitch to be ripped up following damage from a U2 concert.
