Rimac Makes TOP 10 Fastest-Growing Tech Companies in Central Europe

Eight companies from Croatia have been ranked in the 2017 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50, including one in the TOP 10.

Rimac Automobili, which develops and produces high-performance electric vehicles, including the Concept One, the world’s first electric supercar, drivetrains and battery systems, were ranked in No.10 spot on the list. According to the report, Rimac grew 1,059% and jumped from 20th to 10th spot this year.

Last month Asia’s largest battery manufacturer, China-based Camel Group Ltd, entered into a Subscription Agreement with Rimac Automobili worth 30 million euros which was the single largest foreign direct investment in a Croatian technology company. The company has just opened up over 100 new jobs.

23. Code Consulting

Code Consulting Ltd was established in 2013, since when it has been providing services including software test automation and development, mobile applications development, support, and business process implementation and optimisation.

25. Telum

Telum is a data-driven performance agency specialising in web analytics and pay-per-click (PPC) platforms. It is a Google Premier Partner.

Profico is a fast-growing, full-service digital agency and technology solution provider that has helped many enterprise and SME-level clients worldwide to grow their business. With more than 30 employees, the company is focused on software design and development in the areas of mobile, web and IoT-based technologies.

35. Undabot

As makers of mobile moments, Undabot helps clients to scale their business on mobile platforms and enables users to enjoy seamless user experiences.

40. Hangar18

Hangar18 does business on several fronts and has developed several successful brands. The most popular of these is the NOA smartphone line-up, which includes a wide variety of devices from entry-level smartphones to flagship devices that seek to satisfy even the most demanding users.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe is a programme that recognises and profiles fast-growing technology companies in the region. The programme, which is now in its 18th year, ranks the 50 fastest growing public or private technology companies.

Czech company Kiwi.com, which provides users with the cheapest flight itineraries and combinations and sees more than 50 million flight searches every day and employs over 1,400 people, was ranked No.1.

2017 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50

The speed of growth among Central Europe’s technology companies continues to accelerate, with average growth between 2013 and 2016 hitting a new record of 1,127 percent, the report revealed.

Companies must meet a number of criteria to be considered eligible for the main CE Fast 50 ranking, including annual revenues of at least €50,000 in each year between 2013 and 2016, develop or manufacture proprietary technologies or spend a significant amount of capital on R&D and have headquarters in a Central European country.
