Rijeka’s Brand New Stadium to be Unveiled

The new stadium, which will be built at the existing Kantrida stadium location, will have a capacity of 14,000 and mirror from outside Bayern Munich’s Alianz Arena, with the inside of the stadium resembling Juventus’s stadium. Architect Gino Zavanella has designed the new stadium with construction expected to start in November. A new website (www.stadionkantrida.hr), dedicated to the stadium to keep fans up to date during the construction process, will be live from 23:00 tonight. The stadium is expected to be completed by June 2016.
